Can this 24 year old possibly play the 12 year old Jonas featured in the The Giver? Well The Weinstein Company has plans to move forward with actor Brenton Thwaites (pictured above) as Jonas?! Which could very well change the whole story. Jeff Bridges is slated to play the Giver. Right now the movie is in pre-production so we'll all have to wait and see.If you haven't read this yet please check out The Giver...it's only 192 pages and packs just as much punch as The Hunger Games and Divergent and was published way back in 1994! Come in to the Merrick Library for all three books in The Giver Series.
