A bunch of new DVD releases today...

"A.C.O.D." - on the eve of his brother's wedding, Carter is forced to revisit his parent's divorce fifteen years earlier - all-star supporting cast including Jessica Alba, Jane Lynch (TV's "Glee"), Catherine O'Hara ("For Your Consideration") and Amy Poehler (TV's "Parks and Recreation").
 




"Carrie" - it has been thirty-eight years since the original film version of the classic Stephen King novel, but the young lady still has the telekinetic powers to cause mayhem! - stars Chloe Grace Moretz as Carrie and Julianne Moore as her mother.
 



"Enough Said" - Eva finds happiness with Albert but he may not be the catch he appears if one believes his bitter ex-wife - stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, James Gandolfini and Catherine Keener.




"Fruitvale Station" - based on a true story - what is going on with Oscar Grant III on New Year's Eve 2008 - the reason may shake California's Bay Area to its core! - stars Michael B. Jordan, Octavia Spencer ("The Help") and Kevin Durand ("Mortal Instruments: City of Bones").

"Kick-Ass 2" - Aaron Taylor-Johnson returns as the costumed high school hero who suddenly finds other attired allies in his war against The Red Mist.

"Lee Daniels' The Butler" - Cecil Gaines serves eight United States Presidents and endures addictions and defiance at home during the changing times - nominated for three Screen Actors Guild Awards - starring Forrest Whittaker and Oprah Winfrey with superb support from among others John Cusack, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Vanessa Redgrave, Liev Schreiber and Robin Williams.


 


"Short Term 12" - just as foster care counselor Grace is preparing for marriage, a number of her charges face turning points of their own - nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards including Best Actress (Brie Larson). 
 



"A Single Shot" - the story of hunter John Moon and his pursuit of backwoods criminals responsible for the death of a young girl - stars Sam Rockwell and William H. Macy. 






"The Spectacular Now" - Sutter rocks in the present, Aimee in what might be the future - somehow, they become a couple - stars Miles Teller, Shailene Woodley (TV's "Secret Life of the American Teenager") and Jennifer Jason Leigh
