My mother's favorite books...

                      

My mom was a voracious reader. 

She could read a book in one sitting. 

And her favorite writer? 

Stephen King. 

I think my mom may have been the original fan girl, 

not an Annie Wilks obviously, but a pretty big fan.

 One summer we both read "The Mist" while vacationing in Maine,

 the two of us peering across the lake in terror.
